Summertime

Well, it is suppose to be summer but it doesn't seem like it here in good old Pocatello.  Instead it feels like spring has finally got here.  It looks like we are going to be having a short summer again this year.  I hate it.  Lance seems to enjoy being outside but he hasn't got to spend much time outside since all it seems to do is rain.

Well, this weekend was actually a pretty busy one at least for me.  I of course really enjoyed it because I was doing the thing I love to do in the spring and summer and if I could all year round.  I was able to play in a softball tournament this weekend.  We didn't do the best but man I sure loved it.  I love to be able to catch pop flies and bat even though I am not the best batter but I love to run the bases and try to make it possible to score the runs and confuse the fielders on where to throw the ball.

Well to update you on what is going on in our lives...

Taylor is busy doing some work for part of the summer in his program getting everything set up for next semester.  He is really loving it.  I love to hear how happy he is about what he is learning and the knowledge he is gaining from doing the work. It has him so excited to be doing it for a job hopefully next year when he is finished with school.  There are a few places that he is wanting to work.  He has his sights set on INEL and JT3 down in Vegas which we will be happy with either.  I guess we just have to wait and see where life leads us.

Well,Taylor's little sister graduated on May 28, 2010 and it was fun to get to spend time down in Soda Springs with Taylor's family.  They have always meant so much to me.  Raegan has grown into such a beautiful woman and is very important to me.  Well for Raegan's graduation present from her parents she got to go to Boston (Go Red Sox) which she seemed really happy for.  While the family was all gone well, Mitch, Tricia and Raegan, Taylor and I had the adventure of watching Skyler on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial weekend.  He is such a handful and ball of energy.  We went to Bear Lake for that weekend since we were just going to leave Skyler there to spend time with his grandparents.  While we were there it was warm enough that we could go down to the beach and enjoy playing on the sand.  None of us were brave enough to get in the water since it has been really cold down there.  While we were down at the beach we let Lance play in the sand.  He LOVED IT!!  Of course dad was very careful to make sure that he didn't put any sand in his mouth.

Well, right now I can't think of what else has been really exciting to post.  So have a great day.
