Sea World

The day after the beach we went to Sea World.  Lance had lots of fun seeing all the amazing animals.  We walked around and even fed Sea Lions.  Lance thought it was fun except for the birds that tried and succeeded twice at taking the fish from us.  After feeding the Sea Lions we went and watch the Shamu Show, it was amazing.  Lance and Taylor sat in the splash zone with everyone else while Tricia, Brooke and me sat away from it so Brooke wouldn't get wet.  Lance was worried at first when he got wet but enjoyed it after the initial splash.  We had such a great time at Sea World, I hope that we will be able to go again when Brooke is a little older and will enjoy it.

I think they are magnificent animals.

Brooke was like this the whole trip, beautiful.

Coronado Beach and Date Night

While we were in San Diego for Jordan's graduation we also went to Coronado Beach.  We had lots of fun playing in the water.  Lance was scared, we think he has a slight fear of open water because he does fine when we are at any pool.  We were able to get a few pictures of us.

Everyone enjoying the water except Lance, so Taylor was coming to take him in.

Lance thought that the park seemed fun so Taylor had to go get him.

Lance thought it was important to gather the sand...
Pick up some sand...
Carry the sand and...

Put it back in the ocean.

After the beach we went back to the hotel and changed.  Raegan was nice enough to stay with Cater, Lance, and Brooke so that we could have a group date night.  Mom, Dad and Skyler, Taylor and me, and Jordan and Felicia.  We were able to go to the San Diego Padres game against the Seattle Mariners.

Marine Recruit Training Graduation

The past five months have been very busy for us.  We are now adjusted for the most part to having two kids.  We have actually gone on some vacations and had some fun once in a lifetime experience.

Our summer got started at the end of June when we had the opportunity to Jordan's Marine Recruit Training Graduation.  We are so proud of Jordan and the things he has accomplished.  He graduated from his infantry training in August and is excited to start his AAV (Amphibious Assault Vehicle) Training next week.  He seems to be enjoying the marines.

Taylor is very proud of the man that Jordan is and for what he stands for.

All of us, well Mom is behind the camera and Brooke was sleeping.

Baby On The Way

Well, I am down to 2 weeks before we have the baby.  I just wanted to share some things.
Lance is so excited to have a baby, I don't think he realizes that she will be here for good though.  At night he loves to hug my belly and give it kisses and follow it up by saying night night Brooke, I love you.  His other favorite is when she is pushing on my belly to let him feel where she is.  It always puts a smile on his face.
I think he is also ready for me to not have a pregnant belly because he wants to sit on my lap and me to cuddle with him which is hard when you have a big belly.  Well that is it.  I think my next post will be of the baby and updated news with that.

Anniversary

Well, yesterday was a big day at the Brown household even though Taylor wasn't here until 6:30 p.m.  It was the first time we actually got to celebrate our anniversary on the actual day.  We are so thankful for our friend Cassie who kept Lance so that we could go to dinner without having to deal with him.  It was nice thinking about our wedding day and our lives since that day.  We feel so blessed.

New Year Resolution

Well, I am pretty happy I was able to do or mostly get done one of my New Year Resolutions.  My goal was to potty train Lance before the baby arrives in April and he has done amazing at it.  He does get busy sometimes and forgets to go into the bathroom.  I am so proud of him.  I am hoping that we can soon get him to use the big toilet instead of his little kid toilet.  He would love to be a big kid and stand but he is still a little too short for that.
